children must depend on adults for the nursing and supervision they need to grow into a state of individuality. Such nurture is preferably found in adults in a child’s home but when primary adults guardian cannot meet up with the child’s needs, it is therefore the responsibility of the government to provide substitute options in the best interest of the child as the primary duty bearer.
since a child is still growing, the rate of susceptibility of a child to poor living condition like poverty, bad water, improper health facilities, malnutrition, housing and environmental contamination is great. The effects of diseases, poor nutrition, and poverty cause peril to the future of a child and thereafter the future of the society in which he lives in.
research findings show that a child’s early experience play a vital influence to future development. The sequence of their growth defines the input to the society at large over the course of their lives
practically all area of the government policy ranging from education, public health, infrastructure, and finances affects the child to an extent. A myopic policy regulation that fails to put the child into account has a negative impact on the future of variable members of the society. The child is an individual and not possessions of parents or the government, there are equal status and rights established for them appropriate to his or her age, as members of a family and society, this makes it clear that basic qualities should be the right of a child!
